so, its that time in my life to take a step in that direction. I'm ready to get across the ocean. travel. change the world. here's an update. maybe you have connections? or suggestions of some good groups to contact.
WORLD RACE. A year of short-term mission trips around the world. I applied, have had an interview. It is in the hands of God. But I'm not convinced this is what the Lord has called me to...
INVISIBLE CHILDREN. I have applied. But there has been no response. I am SERIOUSLY interested in this one.....If only they would have a job opening.
INTERNATIONAL TEAMS. An interdenominational missions organization with TONS of opportunities in AMAZING parts of the world. Like a clinic/orphanage in Uganda. I have been in contact with one guy, and done the first part of the application (the second part is $50...yikes). But again, is this what the Lord is calling me to?
REACH OUT MBUYA. An NGO HIV/AIDS initiative in Uganda, working with local people, local nurses, local AIDS patients.
AUGH! Lord, show me your plan for my life.
or at least your plan for the next year.

Here's the deal with Invisible Children...Jobs are given to those on the "inside". You should go as an intern first. You can go to Cali and live in the big intern house and/or go to Uganda and work for 3 months. Then, you apply for a paid position. I gave Sean your info he should be emailing you about DISPLACE ME stuff. Let me know if you haven't gotten any emails.
